A Matter of Time

We made this record because we couldn't shake the feeling that something was being lost — not just in our music but in the way music is made now. The old studios that taught generations are closing one by one. The engineers who knew which tape machine to use for which song are retiring. So we went back. Back to Kingston, back to the rooms where this music was born, back to the players who built it. What you're hearing is half tradition, half conversation between past and present.
