Consistent quality

Rebelution has been releasing strong material steadily for years. Nothing has blown me away the way some of the early work did, but the floor is high and the work ethic shows. A reliable listen.

Not connecting for me

Have tried multiple Rebelution releases on recommendations and the writing doesn't land. The production choices feel safe and the lyrics rarely surprise. Glad others enjoy it but it isn't for me.

A true original

Rebelution doesn't sound like anyone else, which in this scene is harder than it should be. The voice is distinct, the writing has fingerprints all over it, and the production choices show real point of view.
